Your organization may require granting special permissions to some users to access, read, send as or on behalf other users.
For example, you may want to enable a user’s assistant to send or read their manager’s mailbox.
Full access permission: this permissions will grant the user you select the full access, they will act as the owner of the mailbox; they can send and read messages as their own mailboxes.
Send as permission: when you grant a full access over someone’s mailbox to selected user/users, they will be able to send as the owner of the mailbox.
Send on behalf: this will grant a delegation to other user /users to send on behalf of other user
Calendar access: this will grant a permission to a user to access the calendar entries of other user.
Contact Access: this will grant a permission to a user to access the contacts of other user.
1. Go to WorldPosta Admin Control Panel.
2. Go to Mailboxes in Hosted Organization section.
3. Select the user that you want.
4. Go to Permissions tab.
5. In Full Access section, Click on Add.
The address book list will appear, check on the user/users you want to allow them full access, then click Add Accounts.
The user/users you selected will appear in the Full Access section
You can add more users or delete existing users from the permissions list.
6. When you finish, click Save Changes.
7. Now the users have full access permissions.
How to configure Send As permissions
1. Go to WorldPosta Admin Control Panel.
2. Go to Mailboxes in Hosted Organization section.
3. Select the user that you want.
4. Go to Permissions tab.
5. In Send As section, Click on Add.
The address book list will appear, check on the user/users you want to allow them Send As, then click Add Accounts.
The user/users you selected will appear in the Send As section
You can add more users or delete existing users from the permissions list.
6. When you finish, click Save Changes.
7. Now the users have Send As permissions.
How to configure Send on Behalf permissions
1. Go to WorldPosta Admin Control Panel.
2. Go to Mailboxes in Hosted Organization section.
3. Select the user that you want.
4. Go to Permissions tab.
5. In Send on Behalf section, Click on Add.
The address book list will appear, check on the user/users you want to allow them to Send on Behalf , then click Add Accounts.
The user/users you selected will appear in the Send on Behalf section
6. When you finish, click Save Changes.
7. Now the users have Send on Behalf permissions.
You can grant access to other users “like an assistant” to add and modify items in calndar
1) Open WorldPosta control panel.
2) Click on Mailboxes in Hosted Organization section.
3) In Mailboxes page, click on the user that you want to edit.
4) Click on the tab Permissions.
5) Click on Add in the section Calendar Access a list of contact will appear.
6) Select contacts from the list, then click Add Contacts.
Owner: allow the user to act like the owner of the calendar; add, edit, and remove calendar items.
Publishing Editor:The Publishing Editor has all rights granted to an Owner, except the right to change permissions. A Publishing Editor can create, modify, delete, and read calendar items and create subfolders.
Editor:The Editor has all rights granted to a Publishing Editor, except the right to create subfolders.
Publishing author:A Publishing Author can create and read calendar items and create subfolders but can modify and delete only folder items that he or she creates, not items created by other users.
Author:An Author has all rights granted to a Publishing Author but cannot create subfolders. An Author can create and read folder items and modify and delete items that he or she creates.
Reviewer:A Reviewer can only read folder items.
Contributor: A Contributor can create only folder items and cannot read items.
7) Click on Save Changes or Save Changes and Exit when you’re done.
1. Go to WorldPosta Online Web Access (OWA)
2. Click on Calendar in the top of the screen.
3. Click on Share Icon in the top right corner
4. A window will appear.
In Share with field: enter the name or the email of the person you want to share calendar with.
Then, from the drop down menu, choose the level of permission you want to grant to this user.
In The subject field enter the subject line which appears to the other persons when you sent him the access invitation.
When you finish, click Send, or click Discard to cancel.
